Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe served as National Vice President of Bharatiya Janata Party from Aug, 2014 – Sep, 2020. He is considered one of the key members of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s think tank and an expert on culture, policy, capacity building and governance.
He came into active politics when Shri Nitin Gadkari, President of BJP in the year 2009, appointed him as his political advisor. He initiated chief minister’s conclave and training programs for ministers of BJP-ruled states. He was the member of BJP’s Vision Document Committee for the 2014 Indian general election and later member of the manifesto committee in 2019.
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe was In-Charge (prabhari) of BJP, Madhya Pradesh and worked closely with Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Dr. Sahasrabuddhe is also In-charge of BJP’s Good Governance Department for a long time.
