The Asiatic Society of Mumbai (formerly Asiatic Society of Bombay) is a learned society in the field of Asian studies based in Mumbai, India.
Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe was elected to The Asiatic Society (of Mumbai) — over 200-year-old
prestigious library and knowledge centre– as its Vice President in 2013. He shouldered this
responsibility for two years, till 2015.
